Jasmine Encarnacion, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, has always been deeply passionate about music, a love that took root in her early years. Her musical journey began at St. Paul Baptist Church, where she lent her talents to the choir and praise team. In 2013, she took on the role of Worship Leader at The Praising Place Church of God, serving faithfully under the guidance of Bishop Roy Tucker.

 

In 2017, Jasmine married her wonderful husband, John, and together they have been blessed with three boys: Chase, Myles, and Judah Encarnacion. Both Jasmine and John actively contribute to the Worship and Arts department at The Praising Place, and Jasmine takes great pride in raising her family within the church and wholeheartedly pursuing Christ as a unit. Worship, for her, transcends the confines of the church and has become a fundamental aspect of her daily life. She often expresses, "Being in the presence of God makes worship easier. The more I seek God, the more of God I desire." Her powerful testimony consistently glorifies God and she never misses an opportunity to share it.

 

In August 2020, Jasmine released her debut single, "Dwell Here," a deeply moving song that resonated with many and even made its mark on the Billboard charts, reaching an impressive #139. This success was followed by her sophomore single, "My God," which was released in July 2021, and her most recent single, "The Blood Song," which was launched in March 2023. Not only is Jasmine a dynamic and anointed singer, but she is also a phenomenal songwriter. Her music reflects the profound time she has spent in God's presence.

 

In addition to her solo endeavors, Jasmine has also contributed her exceptional vocal talents as a background vocalist on numerous albums and live performances for several prominent gospel artists, demonstrating her belief in sowing into the vision of others.

 

Despite her gratitude for the many accomplishments thus far, Jasmine remains acutely aware that there is much work to be done for the Kingdom of God. Her overarching goal is to leverage her platform, regardless of its size, to exalt Jesus Christ and bring glory to his name.
